Program Description

The Brick and Block Masonry program aligns with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) standards, providing students with nationally recognized credentials in their chosen field. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of masonry safety, tools and equipment, measurements, drawings, specifications, mortar materials, and installation techniques. Upon completion, you'll be eligible for NCCER Level I, II, & III certifications, making you a highly qualified candidate for various masonry positions.

The program is full time enrollment with two enrollment options in the Fall or Spring semester. Fall semester begins in August and Spring semester begins in January. Program hours are Monday - Friday 9AM - 3PM.

Occupational Description

Our Masonry program provides hands-on experience mastering the art of laying bricks and blocks, working with various mortar types, and understanding construction materials and building codes. Students gain practical skills by building small structures, practicing advanced techniques, and working on real-world projects supervised by our experienced instructors. Personalized guidance and support ensure graduates are prepared for a wide range of positions, from Masonry Tender to Commercial Masonry.
